Polypropylene Camlock Type C

'Type C' consists of a female camlock and a hose tail. Camlock fittings, also known as cam and groove fittings, are a vastly popular form of hose fitting that see extensive use throughout all industries. One of the reasons for their popularity is that they are very easy to use. They require no special tools to connect or disconnect and the simple lever-lock system means they can replace more traditional and time consuming methods of connecting hose or pipes. Camlock fittings can be found across all industries such as: manufacturing; construction; agriculture; oil; gas; chemical; pharmaceutical; and military applications. The Camlock system is ideally suited to applications where there will be frequent changing of hoses.

Polypropylene has excellent resistance to fats, organic solvents, non-oxidising acids and bases as well as numerous other chemicals. This material is infamous for its' resistance to corrosion, chemical leaching and its' resilience against freezing temperatures. Polypropylene is also highly resistant to fatigue so they have an exceptional service life if properly maintained.
