Cellular (sponge) silicone is the ideal product where a soft, easily deformed sponge rubber is required, for example, high temperature seals and gaskets. Silicone sees extensive use in the automotive industry due to it's excellent thermal properties, long service life, good resistance to weathering elements such as ozone, water and UV light and its' excellent electrical insulation. Silicone is suitable for continuous use up to +200°C and down to -60°C.
