Hose Strainers or Foot Valves are light weight and manufactured from plated carbon steel, iron and PVC. They are commonly used in the pumping and construction industry to prevent unwanted or over sized items being drawn through suction hoses, into a pumping system that could potentially cause mechanical damage and failure. They are easily inserted into any suction hose and can be secured with clips, clamps or strapping and provide you with an efficient method of straining your media.
