Polypropylene Lug Type Hose Fittings, also known as trench pump couplings, are widely used hose fittings that are secured simply by screwing the male and female ends together. Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer that is used to manufacture products such as milk bottles, chairs, plastic hinges such as flip top bottle lids and tic-tac container lids. It has resistance to fatigue from use, and is often chosen for its' resistance to corrosion and chemical leaching.
