Side Seal - BRS 2008

Side Seals have dual function; they cover sharp unfinished edges and also offer a compression sealing function. The rubber tubes are very flexible and are suitable for sealing doors, boots, windows, hatches and many other applications. Mainly popular in classic car restoration, they are also used in industries such as Shipbuilding, Fabrication, Construction and Manufacturing.

Side Seals are mostly manufactured in a combination of EPDM compound solid rubber and sponge rubber with a steel rib reinforcement. EPDM is used as it has excellent thermal stability and exceptional resistance weathering, UV light, ozone, and has a very long service life.

Easy To Install

The strips are made of a medium soft EPDM compound and so are easily to cut to length using a variety of tools. Our Door Seals can be bonded in place to any surface creating a tight seal when needed, in addition to the tapered channel offering superior gripping qualities.
