PYROSORB - S CLASS 'O' OPEN CELL FOAM

Pyrosorb - S is a Class 'O' impregnated Polyurethane open cell foam. The base Polyurethane foam is formed in large blocks and later impregnated with different resins to provide different properties and/or improve others. Class 'O' is the highest designation given by building regulations for preventing the spread of flames and limiting the amount of heat released from the surface during a fire. Pyrosorb - S was originally developed as a safety critical foam, it was discovered however that it absorbs over 70% of sound directed at it. It now mainly sees use as an acoustic barrier in environments such as sound studios, nightclubs and cinema rooms. CFC free.

NOTE: Values listed are for full, unaltered rolls of rubber. If you require part rolls, cut strips, gaskets or adhesive backed rubber, please see our Gaskets & Strips section.
