Viton, Hypalon & Butyl Rubber
Viton rubber is an exceptionally resilient product. It displays excellent resistance to many chemicals, acids, oils, petroleum products and performs very well at high temperatures.
Hypalon rubber also has outstanding resistance to chemicals, oil and performs exceptionally well at extreme high and low temperatures. It has excellent ozone, weathering resistance and has unique resistance to UV light. It is not suitabe for contact with petroleum products.
Butyl (IIR) rubber offers excellent thermal thermal stability and resistance to ageing, UV light and weathering. It is has excellent shock absorption properties, and an extremely low permeability to liquids and gases. Butyl sees extensive use as rubber inner tubes and bladders for sports balls.It is not recommended for use with petroleum, oil or chlorinated solvent products.
