External Hose Fittings

Shot blast coupling have been specifically manufactured for the shot blast industry and are usually manufactured in Iron or Nylon material. They operate very similar to claw couplings which have lugs located on the locking heads that can be quickly connected or disconnected by rotating the couplings until the claws lock in place. All shot blast couplings are fitted to the outside of flexible hoses and are secured with the use of self tapping screws. This method of fitment is designed so that the coupling doesn’t wear internally form the force of abrasive shot or grit passing through the inside of the hose.
