They enable you to quickly connect and disconnect hoses and pipework. Camlocks are designed to be able to carry liquids, gases, granules, powders and they can also be connected to IBC's and spraying equipment. To couple your camlocks, open the coupler arms on the female fitting, and insert the male fitting. The arms are then folded down into the locked position, creating a tight and reliable seal. The type A is a standard male Camlock end and a female BSPP thread on the other end.
