Camlock (also known as cam and groove couplings) are one of the most popular forms of hose coupling due to their reliability and their simplicity. The type b consists of a female camlock on one end, and a male BSPT thread on the other end. Camlocks are designed to be able to carry liquids, gases, granules, powders and they can also be connected to IBC's and spraying equipment. To couple your camlocks, open the coupler arms on the female fitting, and insert the male fitting. The arms are then folded down into the locked position, creating a tight and reliable seal.
