Our sponge cord is manufactured from a high quality Neoprene sponge rubber to give you the longest service life possible from the product. This product has a long proven track record of consistent high quality and is fire resistant to FMVSS 302 standards. Neoprene sponge cord sees extensive use across many industries for many applications. It is used in the construction industry to fill gaps between boards preventing the ingress of air and water as it can be compressed as much as 90% of the original profile. It is also widely used in the movie set and hobby craft industries due to its' thermal stability and its' resistance to paints and glues.
