Brass Camlock

Brass Camlock Fittings are used in a variety of industries for a number of different applications. Brass has unique properties and is a widely used hose fitting due to it's long service life and resistance to the elements. Brass also possesses natural germicidal, bactericidal and antimicrobial properties that prevent biofouling. For this reason, they are popular in marine environments and for the transfer of water, salt water and other fluids that are not for human consumption. These cam and groove style hose fittings are connected simply by opening the lever arms, inserting the male coupling, and closing down the arms, locking the two ends together.
